Role

As Security Trust Lead you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Security Governance framework, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), and Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) to ensure robust organizational resilience and support the business in representing Fioneer’s Security Program with customers.

Further Tasks:

• Policy, Standards, and Procedure Governance – Oversee the creation, enforcement, and periodic review of security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Expert Security Risk Assessment & Management – Conduct and oversee comprehensive security risk assessments, identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks while embedding security into organizational processes.
• Regulatory & Compliance Leadership – Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, DORA, and NIS2 by managing audits, assessments, and continuous monitoring processes to uphold security and trust standards.
• Cross-Functional Security Advocacy – Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external auditors to drive a security-first culture, ensuring security and compliance are embedded into business operations and strategic decision-making.
• Customer Advocacy – assist with customer interactions including contract negotiations, RFPs, customer security inquiries and support incoming customer audits

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Information Security
• In-depth knowledge of ISMS, BCMS and SOC2 frameworks and corresponding industry best practices. Familiarity with regulation in the finance industry – an advantage
• Proven experience in conducting and managing security risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• An ownership and solution driven mindset with strong will to leverage
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Experience in customer advocacy, including handling contract negotiations, RFPs, and customer security inquiries.
